Carolyn Free Grogan, age 61, died on Monday, July 19, 2010, at her residence.
A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Carlos and Frances Metcalf Free. She was an employee of BASF for 27 years and was a member of Hominy Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, William G. Grogan; two brothers, Dean Free and his wife, Lisa, and Roger Free and his wife, Sharon; a niece Amanda Edwards; and two nephews, Anthony Free and Jeff Heatherly.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Hominy Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Joe Yelton and Reverend Fred Werhan officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
