Canton, Lula Belle Kuykendall Haynes, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Etta Burnette Kuykendall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Olus Ray Haynes; two daughters, Sue Barton and Regina McCracken and a grandaughter, Queitha Barton.
She is survived by a son, Reid Haynes, of Canton and two son in-laws, Toby Barton, of Canton and Bobby McCracken, of Clyde; five grandchildren, Brandi Haynes, Wesley Barton, Robbie Christopher, Nicole McCracken; and Kassie McCracken and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Crestview Baptist Church with the Reverend Dan Page officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Canton.
